Fall 2003 Semester (Sat. Sept. 13 - Sat. Nov. 15) Schedule & Locations
(1) REGISTRATION & PLACEMENT TEST SESSIONS
Lawrence Tech University (Southfield, MI)
Engineering Building: Second Floor E208 & E209 Student and at least one parent must attend one of these sessions:
1. Sat, Aug 30: 9am - 12:30pm
2. Sat, Sep 06: 9am - 12:30pm
At
the session, the student will take a rigorous 2-hour test covering
basic math and verbal concepts. Student must bring the following
materials in order to receive a proper academic evaluation and thus an
appropriate course assignment:
1. A well-rested body prepared to take a test
2. School Transcript
3. PSAT/SAT/ACT Scores
4. Pencil & Eraser
5. Calculator
6. $50 Registration fee (cash, check, or money order)
Parents,
please bring no sleepy, calculator-less students who are unaware that
they will be taking a test. Sleepy, surprised, calculator-less students
usually perform below their abilities, and get placed into improper
classes, which results in lots of wasted time for everybody.
(2) SEMESTER KICK-OFF

Engineering Building: E100 (auditorium) Every student and at least one parent must attend.
Sat., Sep 13: 9:00am - 1:00pm
9:00am - 10:30am Kick-Off Ceremony
10:00am - 1:00pm Students break-out for their Session 1
(3) ACADEMIC SESSIONS

Engineering Building: Rooms E200, E201, E202, E203, E204, E205 Every Saturday 9:00am - 12:00noon, except as noted
Session 1 Sat Sep 13 10:30 am - 1:30 pm ~ Immediately after the opening Program

Session 4 Sat Oct 04
Session 5 Sat Oct 11
Session 6 Sat Oct 18
Saturday Oct. 25 No Class due to LTU campus wide program
Session 7 Sat Nov 01
Session 8 Sat Nov 08
Session 9 Sat Nov 15 FINAL EXAM! (With Mandatory Closing Ceremony immediately following)
Attendance: Students may miss no more than three Semester sessions
(4) CLOSING CEREMONY

11:30 am - 1:30 pm (immediately after the Final Exam)
Lunch, Guest Speaker, Awards & Recognition.
