Math Diagnostic Tests
*Solutions
for Test Versions A - D: Just solve the problems exactly like similar
problems demonstrated in the Sample Test Solutions!
We
administer one Version of our Math Diagnostic Test to students during
Registration at the
beginning of the semester to establish a Baseline score for
each of the Basic Math Topics covered by the SAT. Each Basic Math Topic
corresponds to a chapter in our textbook, "Math the Easy Way." At the
end
of the semester, our Math Students take a different Version of the Math
Diagnostic Test as
a Final Exam, so that we can compare with the Baseline score. We have
four Versions of our Math Diagnostic Test, plus a Sample.
Sample Math Diagnostic Test
Students can administer themselves the Sample Test, grade
themselves using the Sample Test Answer Key, then study using the
Sample Solutions. This can help them improve their competancy even
without enrolling in our Math program, or prior to doing so.
The Sample Test, and especially the Sample Test Solutions, serve many purposes for our students:
1. Prior to Registering for our
Math Curricula, students should self-administer the Sample Test, then
study the Sample Test Solutions. This will prepare Students for the
Baseline Test they will take as part of their Registration.
2. During the Semester, Mach
Coaches and Students will use the Sample Test Solutions as a template
for solving all problems covered by the Basic Math Classes.
3. Students enrolled in a Math
Class should and must use the Sample Test and Sample Test Solutions to
study for the end-of-semester Math Diagnostic Test Final Exam.
=====
At
some point we may limit access to to non-Sample Tests and Solutions to
Logged-in Staff Members. We are now experimenting with letting
interested Parents home-administer tests for Registration.
