PRE-SEMESTER FAMILY CONSULTATIONS

ATTENDANCE: Student and at least one parent must attend.

Families will meet privately with one of our staff members at the time that they scheduled at the Registration Session. See Master Registration List for Pre-Semester Family Consultation Schedule.

Students MUST BRING Class Materials

FAMILY CONSULTATION

0. Inspection of Student Materials. Students must bring these!
1. Review Student's Registration Tests:

1.1 Review, then place into Student Binder.
1.2 Test Answer Key & (for Math Tests) Solutions.

2. Family Interview form:

2.1 Review School Transcript: Discuss School Course Selection and Grades.
2.1 Review Standardized Test Transcripts.
2.1 Assessment of Student Needs, Strengths, and Plan of Attack.

3. BCLS Course Assignment (see: Rosters):

3.1 Parents & Students, your one and only chance to debate this!
3.2 Issuance of Course Text Book. (Returning students can help us cut costs by bringing and utilzing Text Book from previous semester.)

4. Homework Assignment due Class 1, individualized based on Student's performance on Registration Tests.

5. Review of Academic Session Details.

6. Begin Reading 20-Pages-A-Day (100 a week).
7. Parent Volunteer Opporutnity. Review of Staff Shedule Page.
