STUDENT MATERIAL
Required for all ACADEMIC
SESSIONS

Students MUST BRING to EVERY CLASS the tools of a scholar:

1. DICTIONARY: Full size, pocket, or electronic (even to Math class!).

2. CALCULATOR: Capable of performing Trig fns (even to Verbal class!). In low-level math classes, students have not earned the right to use a calculator, BUT THEY MUST BRING ONE ANYWAY.

3. BOOK: Biography, novel, short story collection, etc. (magazines are NOT books!). We force Students to read while we grade papers, or when they finish an assignment early. Besides, they should have a book with them at all times anyway, RIGHT?

4. PENCIL: Mechanical, with plenty of leads.

5. ERASER: Good and clean, not the crappy, smearing eraser at the end of most pencils.

6. BINDER: Three-ring binder, 1.5-inch thick. Students must provide their own (this requirement is new starting Winter 2005). Binder must contain:
7.1 Clean notebook paper.
7.2 Info from Registration and Pre-Semester Family Consultation.

7.3 Graded Registration Tests.
7.4 Notes, graded Tests, and all other papers from class activities and homework.
WE REQUIRE AND EXPECT THAT STUDENTS KEEP TRACK of all of their own work throughout the semester.

7. Text Book
issued by BCLS.
